Samuel Nassimov

Samuel began his career at Tel Aviv’s Dan Hotel in the 1970s, driven by a passion for hospitality. In 1990, he acquired and revitalised the Carlton Hotel in East London, launching Premier Hotels & Resorts. Today, the group boasts 16 hotels and resorts, nearly 2000 rooms, and over 1500 employees, becoming a key player in South Africa’s hospitality industry. Nassimov remains committed to innovation, citing technology as a game-changer in shaping the future of hospitality and positioning Premier Hotels & Resorts as an industry leader.
Sigal Nassimov-Geva
Chief Operating Officer
Sigal Nassimov-Geva, holding a BA in Computer Systems Analysis and an MBA from the University of Manchester, joined Premier Hotels & Resorts in 2004 after immigrating to South Africa. Through dedication and passion, she has become a respected leader in the hospitality industry, playing a key role in transforming the company from a family-run business into a modern corporate enterprise, driving growth and expansion. Recognised as the 2012 Regional Business Woman of the Year (Corporate Category), Sigal continues to shape the company’s future.
